"Marble Painting no.1" is part of a diptych of paintings printed on photographic paper.

 

The abstract mass is actually the result of a procedure of superimposed layers worked.

 

Basically, it is a photograph of the interior of a cave in Brazil. The photo was developed in giant format, then painted by the artist on the support. The latter was scanned then worked on the graphics tablet, before developing it definitively in photo printing.

The work is annotated 1/2 because it is the first part of the diptych.

Technical characteristics: Long-lasting protective varnish. Dimensions of the photography without frame ans passe-partout (30x45x0.2 cm).

 

Work signed, dated and titled on the back of the photography by the artist. Preserved in France.
